Alyssa Pickering has been obsessed with stories for as long as she can remember. When she wasn’t reading fantasy books, she was writing them—especially ones filled with romance. After a brief academic detour to earn a BS in Human Development and an MA in Family and Community Services, she remembered her preference for imaginary worlds and began drafting her debut novel. 

When Alyssa isn’t fighting her cat for control of her laptop, you can find her eating sushi or educating her sons on the lyrical genius of Taylor Swift. And while she loves a good slow-burn romance, her favorite will always be the childhood-best-friends-to-lovers story she shares with her husband.
